Live from the TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2018
Disrupt SF, TechCrunch’s flagship startup event is kicking off on September 5th at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco and it’s massive. Disrupt SF is where you’ll find the renowned Startup Battlefield competition, a virtual Hackathon, hundreds of startups in Startup Alley, Workshops and legendary networking at our After Parties… and we’re in San Francisco, right where startup dreams began.
The biggest Disrupt SF conference ever
“We’ve tripled the floor space from last year and expect the attendance to reach 10,000 people, double from last year,” told me Ned Desmond, the COO of media site TechCrunch — now owned by U.S. telecommunications giant Verizon — in a phone interview. “We’ve also doubled the number of exhibiting startups, now at 1,200, as well as the programming sessions to over 100.”
The number of technology tracks covered this week has also expanded, to 12 from 10 last year, and include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Experiences (AR/VR), Biotech, Blockchain, FinTech, Health Tech, Justice/Diversity, Investor, Mobility, Privacy/Security, Robotics, and Space.
This year’s Disrupt SF schedule, though, is taking a sharp turn in the other direction. This is where technology and opportunity intersect! Not only are we taking the chance to showcase the LATEST technology in modern transportation booking and dispatching, but also can get-in-the-know a lot of valuable partnerships.
We are on the right steps toward mapping the world of transportation with a complete, simple and one-size-fits-all system! It is a grand pleasure to redefine the role of centralized dispatching platform to ensure TRUE personal and business travel for the future. And what’s better – we deliver a seamless and feature-rich experience across desktop and mobile device!
In the fast-moving and turbulent digital transportation market, stable long-term relationship like QUp and other technology-enabled vendors is of the top importance. This is a great way for us to create global partnerships with corporates who will deliver the QUp dispatching solution into their local markets.
